WordPress released 2.9.2 which is a security fix for the multi authored blogs.As per the official announcement ” Thomas Mackenzie alerted us to a problem where logged in users can peek at trashed posts belonging to other authors. If you have untrusted users signed up on your blog and sensitive posts in the trash, you should upgrade to 2.9.2. “
Check out the safe method to upgrade to the latest version right from the WordPress Dashboard.
Although this upgrade is dedicated for the multi authored blogs I have upgraded my blog to the latest version to be on safe side and make sure that the things stay good when updated frequently and also I am planning to enable guest posts at TechCats you can wait for the official announcement this week.
