When I first installed Microsoft Vista and tried on my laptop and I just stuck for a moment by seeing the annoying security pop ups and after keeping it for a couple of weeks I completely understood that how bad the OS was, and immediately downgraded to Windows XP. But, when I had the Windows 7 RC installed and doing my personal work, I feel that this is going to make big one day. The look and feel of the platform was awestruck, and it has a lot of add on features like backup & restore, improved performance, Jump lists, power management gives you a better computer experience.
What I felt about the new Windows 7.
- Beautiful: I can say, the computer I am working is as handsome as I am (:P). Aero peek has actually made me surprise and I really love the new UI.
- Ease of Use: After the RC installation, I never had to look and search for everything. I felt as if I was doing it for a long time. Navigation menus were more easily designed such that even a no vice guy can use them at an ease.
- Faster Loading: The booting time comparatively improved and better when compared and was at top when compared to the earlier versions of Windows.
There may be more and more tangible or intangible things in the OS but I liked this version of windows a lot. This is indeed a good job from Microsoft to make the OS so user-centric! Thank you Microsoft for making such a beautiful OS.
