Orkut now has a new look and by now you may came to know about the new Orkut design and started hunting for getting the access and invitation to get the new web design of the Orkut to your profile. In case if you have missed and does not checked have access to check the new design yet just have a look at the screen shot below.
Currently the new look of Orkut is available only on invitation basis and once can get access to the brand new Orkut if they do the following guidelines mentioned in the official Orkut blog:
- Join Poppy and Shashi on the official community (www.orkut.co.in/neworkut) for insights into the new version of orkut and participate in one of the many activities that will be taking place there. Be sure to check back often as the owners will be regularly announcing new ways to get access.
- Find a friend who’s already using the new version of orkut and ask for an invite. You can see who’s already gotten access via your activity stream or by this icon
that will appear on your friends’ profile pages, next to their names.
Seems that this the beginning of the evolution and Orkut is now adopting a lot of trends from FaceBook as FaceBook is growing rapidly these days.
