The most awaiting version of the from Microsoft Office 2010 has been released for the public. It is the current beta version of the Office 2010 which is available for download both as developers edition and professional edition. They have released Windows 7 and got good review on the new OS.

Applications included in MS Office 2010
You have to follow the below mentioned instructions to activate the product
Step 1: Open Microsoft Word 2010 Beta and click on the “File” tab. This will take you to the Backstage view. Next click “Help” in the set of tabs on the left.
Step 2: Click “Change Product Key” on the right side of the screen.
Step 3: Enter the Multiple Activation Key (MAK) displayed above. Please check the box to activate automatically or restart the app to activate using the activation dialog box.
Step 4: That’s all you need to do. Entering the MAK key in Microsoft Word 2010 Beta automatically activates all the Office Professional Plus 2010 Beta applications. Click on the “File” tab to return to the Document view.

It was leaked 2 weeks back and Microsoft made it available to MSDN and Cnet subscribers last week (We had written a post on it. You can see sneak preview of Office 2010 Beta with lot of screenshots there).
Now it is good to see that MS has opened the door for everybody to give it a try.

Im sure Office 2010 will avoid the flaws that were in office 2007. And i also read that Office 2010 ‘s minimum requirement is Windows XP SP2. It doesnt work on earlier version.

yeah Windows SP3 is available in the market and there is no wonder they would prefer the latest version.. heard that windows will dump XP soon.. They are planning to stop providing support to XP by end of 2010
Good to download MS 2010 but you need to have test PC for that
cause you can not screwup the present MS office installed.

@robomaster as always the beta versions from Microsoft come with a time limit and they will expire after the release of the final version.. so there wont an option of keeping that for free forever..
