DontClickit – Future Of Websites – Flash or HTML?

by Rajesh Kanuri on February 24, 2010

The Future of the Websites is flash because there is no way a company’s official website will be worrying about the Search Engine Optimization(SEO) and back links, even thought if they require it an official blog can help them out in making things and spread the word about the company. So as always my vote goes for well designed and stuffed website(if official) rather than thinking hard about the code and SEO.

While discussing with an office colleague on design he showed well designed website DontClickIt where you can browse the entire website with just a single click (Even the single is kept to make the users understand the website) and the content of the website including the navigation menu’s of the website can be browsed by moving the cursor.Do Not Click it Website DontClickit Future Of Websites Flash or HTML?

This site is designed by the Alex Frank as the final artwork of authors diploma in communication design at the university. According to him all the future web developments in coming years will be done in a similar manner where the intended reader of the website will use less effort to browse the website.

So Guys what do you think how the future of the websites will be? HTML or Flash?

i disagree that flash is the future, flash is an archaic technology now that is bloated and slow, open standards are the way forward.

I favour HTML5 where hybrid applications can run inside a browser without any plug-in support.

Thank you for sharing the DontClickit website.

I didnt see this kind of website before.. very cool website

What is the purpose of this website. If the website is flash will it get affected by SEo ??

It will be HTML only 100%.

It is a must for a web designer to know the ill effects of flash. SE can’t understand flash. And too much of it especially in the navigation brings trouble.
